“I didn’t start this project with the notion that it would become a metaphor for how I see life, but it evolved into the most deeply personal images I have created. Photographing water in various locations, during different seasons, and from assorted points of view has left me both humbled and exalted by what is beautiful and dangerous which is reflective of both my personal life and what I have experienced in the world. While it is tempting to list all the events that I believe these images speak to, I would rather let the viewer draw her own conclusions.”
— Honey Lazar

These images range from violence to sexual innuendo or moments of quiet beauty and whimsy. Images are traditionally printed by Master Printer, Chuck Kelton (www.keltonlabs.com), on fiber-base paper. They are all selenium toned.
