Conversations concerning archival inks, chemicals, film, DVD’s, and memory cards piqued my interest in artists who make work that is not meant to last. Temporary consists of artists’ portraits that are accompanied by images from the series of actions leading to a final creation. I am excited by those whose stimulation comes from the complexities inherent in the creative process some of whom are ice carvers, balloon twisters, and bakers.
